Unit's 3rd Annual Rollerblading Comp Results

So the Official Results from yesterdays Unit 1 Rollerblading blading were:

Unit 1's 3rd Annual Rollerblading Competition

So its been set, Sunday the 20th November Unit 1 Skatepark in Rochester are going to be holding the 3rd Rollerblading competition.

Like last year this event will be held in Rounds of 5-6 skaters in a Jam format, with the best 2-3 going through to the next round, ending up with the best from the day in the final!

Plus to end the whole day off there will be a Best Trick Competition as well, with the winner taking home the mystery box!!!This years competition has all so been given a 1 star WRS event rating, meaning the top 10 will be given points towards the WRS scoreboard!

SlammJamm 13 is now official over. :-( but Good times we're had by all!!!

The Loco Skates Box Bouts were a great addition this year and made for some interesting skating. Really hope they return next year.

All 3 competitions we're great to watch. Theres defo. some amazing young talent coming through, as was seen in the New Bloods event.

As always the Best Trick competition really finished it all off, with Elliott taking a really heavy fall, but still getting up and ready for the After Party. Andy Spary took the best trick this year with his soul to 540 out on to the floor from the MASSIVE rampworx 1/4.

The After party as normal with a group of Rollerbladers, got messy and partyed hard!!

Watch out for all the edits that are going to drop over the next few weeks, including ours and the first trailer to the Documentary about SlammJamm.

SlammJamm 13 has official started today. Rampworx is now open till Midnight tonight for all Rollerbladers and the session is going to hit off. Everyones getting really pumped for this weekend!

First box comp tonight at 10pm between Dan Ives and Dan Collins organised by Loco skates. Can't wait!! Check back for updates to find out who won!.

Interviews have already started for the documentary coming out next year, being produced by 3rider TV and SlammJamm.

Hi guys and girls, sorry that there hasn't been many updates lately. Been on Holiday and still am. But heres all the lovely News Updates you many have missed over the last week and a bit:

The Loco Beach Jam went down just over a week ago on a lovely sunny Sunday, which then truned to rain in the afternoon. The Am comp was completed in time but only the first two heats of the Pro Comp got underway.
The back up plan was called in to action, after some KFC or course :-), were we all reconvened at a top seceret location inside a dis-used warehouse. The Loco box and Alex Riley's home made box rails were bought along. Then some serious box session went down! Results:

MAIN PRO CONTEST: (Guerilla warehouse Jam): 1st Dan Collins, 2nd Elliot Stevens,
UNFINISHED PARK CONTEST RESULTS: 1st Danny Aldridge, 2nd Jamie Stenner, 3rd Jenna Downing
OPEN/AMATEUR SKATEPARK CONTEST: 1st Perrin Marks-Thomas, 2nd Sam Crofts, 3rd Aaron Turner
NEW BLOOD U16 contest: JOINT 1st Adam Brown and Khan Omar, 3rd Patrick Barklem.

Craig Harrison has now been picked up by UKskate, after his amazing performance at the Chaz Sands Invite in Liverpool and again at this years Relentless NASS! Well done to him and well deserved. Check out the edit in a previous post that was created by Richard Johnson, to see what he's about.

The long time respected London skater that is Blake Bird, has also been picked up with a new sponsor too, SlapTap! Again well deserved!! Check out this edit if you havent already from SlapTap:

So Relentless Energy drink NASS Festival 2011 has now come to an end. What an amazing weekend it was! For those that weren't there, below are the final results and some more photos from our photographer Michael Darby.

The real street course was new this year and it went down really well! One of the best events of the weekend in my view. Full Inline edits coming soon, just looking back through the footage now, for all those that missed out.

2nd Day at NASS 2011

So we were all up at 8.30am after a heavy night in the Drum n Bass Arena, still stinking of sweat, ready for the AM Inline Comp. Only to find it didnt start till 11, lol. Oh well it was well worth the wait and gave us a chance to grab some energy drinks, Relentless of course. :-)

Well, Relentless Energy Drink NASS 2011 is fully under way. We have already had the first inline competition, the Open event, and people are already seeing the best lines around the park this year and the massive gaps are already happening.

The open final was tough, but Craig Harrison come out on top! (Look at our last post to see him in action around Rampworx)
